Benjamin Moore's Advance Interior Paint - Perfect for Furniture

Benjamin Moore's Advance is a hybrid paint. It is a waterborne interior alkyd that leaves a hard
finish, similar to the older product Satin Impervo we all used to love. Even though Advance was designed for professional painters, homeowners have embraced the paint. The number one feature that everyone is raving about is the paint performs like a traditional oil paint but in a waterborne formula and cleans up easily.

A few fantastic features of Advance:

  • Low VOC
  • No solvents required for clean up
  • Extended open time
  • Cures to a hard, durable finish
  • Available in unlimited colors

Advance, by far, is the best paint for painting cabinets and furniture. Keep in mind it is all about the prep!  All surfaces must be cleaned and rid of any peeling paint, dust, mildew, anything that should not be on the surface. The paint can be applied with a brush, roller, spray gun and even a spray can. Advance dries to the touch in 4-6 hours and can be recoated after 16 hours. It leaves a nice factory finish coat.
